This is Timmi and Mimi the guinea pig. Initially I was quite sceptical to keep them as I never kept a guinea pig in my whole life. Hamsters yes... but not guinea pigs. I got Timmi first and after getting him I googled information on how to keep a guinea pig. After getting him, I pitied Timmi as he was lonely. Guinea pigs lives in a community unlike hamsters who are loners. Actually having them is so easy and they are so lovable too. Not as smelly as hamsters. Guinea pigs feed on hay , guinea pig pellets and fresh vegetables and fruits only. This is a must as they need lots of Vitamin C in their diet as their bodies need a lot of Vitamin C. I usually feed them carrots, celery, capsicum, apples, kangkung, sawi, cucumber, timothy hay and etc. When they are hungry they will start calling me. Their sound is very unique! They will go wheek...wheek...wheek when they want your attention and they will coo when they want to be loved. Timmi and Mimi gets along very well with my cats and vice versa. When they are out of their cage for floor time, my cats will play with them. They just get along fine. At least I am not worried that my cats will eat Timmi or Mimi he..he...
